Steve Lowe, one of the Eastern Shore’s most prolific singer-songwriters, has been writing and performing original songs for over 30 years.

A couple years ago, he formed the Americana band Steve Lowe and The Lowe Downs to perform his unique blend of country, blues, bluegrass, and roots music. This accomplished group of Shore-based musicians consists of Gerry Devine, guitar and accordion; Dave Moore, vocals, banjo, and guitar; Julie Parsons, keyboard and vocals; Chris Levey, bass; and Mark Gadson, drums and percussion.

Their sound delights audiences across multiple generations through Steve’s well-crafted songs inspired by life events and the Chesapeake Bay way of life.
