Easton Farmers’ Market Now Open Year Round
The Easton Farmers Market is pleased to announce that it will be operating year-round, providing the community with continuous access to fresh, locally-grown and produced goods.
Managed by the Avalon Foundation, the Easton Farmers Market has been a cherished tradition for over 40 years. Many of its vendors have been participating for three decades or more, establishing strong connections with customers and the community. “We are proud to support this endeavor that serves the community and connects customers with local farmers, and other producers,” said market manager Marie Nuthall, “The winter market has been an ‘in-the-know’ secret for many years as it was hosted by various retail establishments in the community during the market’s ‘off-season’. Keeping the market in the same location provides continuity for our customers who have come to enjoy finding top quality ingredients in the heart of downtown Easton.” Some of the vendors participating this winter will be selling produce, baked goods, pork, beef, and dairy - all of which are grown in Eastern Shore counties.
The Easton Farmers Market is conveniently located the municipal parking lot in the 100 block of North Harrison Street, (north of Goldsborough Street). The market is pedestrian-only, outdoors and vendors will be setting up rain or shine each Saturday from 8-noon. In this winter format, the market will operate from December 21st through April 14th. Free parking is available via the market entrance accessible from Washington Street or Brewers Lane.
